Central Middle School established a School Advisory
Council as a result of House Bill 1187- THE A+ REFORM ACT OF 2000. The
intent of the council is to "improve academic achievement",
"solve difficult education problems", and "share ideas for school
improvement". The role of the council is to provide "advice,
recommendations, and assistance and represent the community of parents and
businesses".
The council is elected to a two-year term and consists of
two teachers, two parents, and two business partners. The principal of the
school serves as Chairperson.

Under the Open Meetings Act (O.C.G.A.
50-14-6), the Central Middle School Advisory Council announces that regularly
scheduled meetings will be held in the school on the last Tuesday of each month
at 5:15 p.m.
