I began my second career as a teacher in 2001 and it was the best career decision I have ever made! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and I returned to school to earn a Specialist’s degree is Secondary Science Education. Finally, I completed my Doctorate in School Improvement in 2014. I have 15 years of experience teaching high school science and have served as an Assistant Principal since leaving the classroom. As an educator I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential emotionally, socially and academically.
On a personal note, I am married and I am blessed to be the mother of two wonderful young men. As a family, we enjoy camping, boating, watching football, and listening to music.
