I have been an educator for eighteen years and have taught all levels from 7th-12th grades. Currently, I'm in my fourth year at CMS as a seventh grade ELA teacher. I hold a bachelor's in English with Secondary Education, a master's in Secondary Education, and a specialist in Instructional Technology. I am gifted and AP certified, and I am completing my ESOL certification program this fall.
I have been happily married to my husband, Scott, for 22 years and we have seven children. Ethan, our oldest, recently graduated from Georgia Tech; Blake is a Junior at Berry College; Hannah is a sophomore at CHS and participates in tennis and cross country; Mercedes is a fourth-grader at CES; Sophia is a third-grader at CES; Forest a second-grader at CES; Rose is a kindergartener at CES.
I am a member of First Christian Church of Carrollton (along with the rest of my family), and I'm actively involved in the mission efforts in Haiti through Revelator International. In addition, I support my husband in his work at Recovery and Restoration Ministries where he serves on the board.
