About Mrs. Hembree
I have been an educator for fifteen years and have taught all levels from 7th-12th grades. Currently, I'm in my second year at CMS as a seventh grade ELA teacher. I hold a bachelor's in English with Secondary Education, a master's in Secondary Education, and a specialist in Instructional Technology. I am gifted and AP certified.
I have been happily married to my husband, Scott, for 20 years and we have seven children. Ethan, our oldest, attends Georgia Tech; Blake is a senior at Alexander High School and has a scholarship to play football at Berry College; Hannah is twelve and participates in tennis and cross country at CMS; Mercedes is a first-grader at CES; Princesa is a kindergartner at CES; Forest is in pre-school at The Bridge Learning Center; Rose attends daycare at The Bridge Learning Center.
I am a member of First Christian Church of Carrollton (along with the rest of my family), and I'm actively involved in the mission efforts in Haiti through Revelator International. In addition, I support my husband in his work at Recovery and Restoration Ministries where he serves on the board.
