Heather Underwood

Hi - My name is Heather Underwood and I am excited for another year at the best middle school in Carroll County - Central Middle School.  

I am a graduate of Clayton College and State University with a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education with a focus on math and science.  I have since taken the secondary math GACE and am now certified in grades 4-12 math and grades 4-8 science. I have been teaching since 2004 and have been primarily in 8th grade math which is my love :)  I taught for 17 years in Henry County, Georgia at Luella Middle School and Union Grove Middle School before moving out here to West Georgia. I have been here in Carroll County at Central Middle since 2019 and am loving every minute of it!

My husband's name is Michael Underwood and we have been married since 2005.  We have three children: Cross, Conner, and Chloe. If I am not working or hanging out with my family, you will most likely find me traveling, redoing antique furniture, doing Pinterest projects, or watching Hallmark movies!  My family and I love all things DISNEY. We have been on two Disney cruises (I highly recommend), to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL several times, and even went to DisneyLand in California in April of 2019.
