My name is Laura Owen. I have been married to my husband, Andy, for 14 years. We have two children who attend Roopville Elementary School. Austin will be in 4th grade and Audrey will be in 3rd grade.
I am a 2003 graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance and a 2007 graduate of the Atlanta School of Massage. I have had a career in massage therapy for the last 17 years and am ready for a new adventure. I am currently pursuing a teaching degree from Western Governors University in middle-grade mathematics.
I began substitute teaching in Carroll County just over a year ago and spent most of those days at Central Middle School. I am honored and humbled to now be joining the Central Lion family this upcoming school year!
