Michael Butler began teaching 6th grade language arts at Carrollton Jr. High School in 1996. In 2002, he left education to pursue another passion, audio engineering, and opened a recording studio which was in operation until 2007. It was then that he decided to return to the teaching profession, this time in Carroll County, where he taught at Jonesville Middle School, Bay Springs Middle School, and, finally, beginning in 2013, Central Middle School--which he is proud to call home. He lives in Carrollton with his wife, Carol Anne, and has two children, William and Carolina.
